正しい相対性理論 Tadashii Soutaiseiriron Review

I finally had my first listen into Soutaiseiriron´s new CD and my honest opinion unfortunately is : I´m quite disappointed with it.

I´m going to do a short review on each song to explain what didn´t satisfy me ..

This is not a flaming or sth , because everybody should know I´m Soutaiseiriron´s biggest fan!


1. Q/P - I consider this the best song on the album.
It carries Soutaiseiriron´s usual fresh sound with these cool guitar reefs and cute lyrics and vocals combined. I´m totally satisfied with this song and love it to pieces. Rating 10/10


02. QJPCAM - This song starts off with some kind of weird sounds (continuing for 50 seconds). Then it turns out being a remix of "Peperoncino Candy". I think the repeating "Pe Pe Pe" in the background throughout almost the whole song is kinda annoying. Moreover the chorus is a bit off (meaning the timing doesn´t lay on the beat). Also there´s a sound reminding me of a seal which seems to be dying. It´s not so much of my taste all in all. Rating 3/10

03. QGKGAO - There´s something I absolutely hate about "QGKGAO". It´s the annoying peeping noise, which is so high that it disables anyone to hear something else.
"QGKAO" is rather like the songs Yakushimaru does within her solo career (often unusal sounds + her talking voice saying random things). It features part of the lyrics of the song "Ranbou to Taiki" ("itsudemo, dokodemo, daredemo") and some sequences of Yakushimaru´s song "adaptation 05.1 eyrs"(sentences and laughing).
I adore her voice but the combination of the disturbing peeping noises and her random phrases is also not so much of my taste. Rating 2/10

04. QSMJAF - This is a remix of "Shikaku kakumei". It´s one of the remixes on the album I find okay. It´s not too much of a big change in the song itsself, which I think is good hence the characteristic sounds Soutaiseiriron´s songs have. It´s definitely one of the better remixes in my opinion. Rating 5.5/10


05. QHPMAS - The characteristic main melody of "(Koi ha)Hyakunen Sensou" keeps remaining in "QHPMAS", which is a remix of the named. The beginning is actually quite nice until that quite a bit creepy male voice appears and sings half of the lyrics. I was a bit shocked because it´s so unusual to hear male voices in Soutaiseiriron songs (except in Ohayou O-patsu, where it´s somehow fitting), but in this case I know the original song and it´s too unusual for me. It´s hard to get used to it I think. Rating: 4/10

06. QMSMAS - I knew this one before from Ecchan´s promotion on Radio Yakushimaru. "QMSMAS" can call itsself a remix of "Miss Parallel World". The problem with most of the remixes here is that the songs easily lose their natural charm by being changed in a completely different tune. QMSMAS is okay, but not my style. Rating 5/10

07. Q&Q - Another original new song which turned out being my second favorite on the album. It features some of the Soutaiseiriron-typical instrumental parts and of course the vocals. The lyrics are uber-cute and I adore the nostalgic rockabilly-country-sound in the bridge. Surprisingly good ! Rating 9/10

08. QSSGAB - QSSGAB begins with a weird chaos of sounds again. In the first sentences the talking voice is incredibly deep until the actual "song" starts turning out being a remix of "Genso kikou". It contains a touch of hispanic traditional sound, a bit ghost-song and a bit of rock-stye elements. I clearly don´t like it . Rating 1/10

09. QVSCAA - In my opinion the worst song on the album. Remix of "Vermont Kiss". It´s basically the original sound, just a little cut-off , which I think destroys the whole beautiful song. Adding to that I think the moaning/ breathing/ weird noise of the male voice is incredibly and absolutely scary and disturbing. When the song starts sounding like some kind of rain dance it even gets worse. And the last repeating part combined with these rain dance sounds just disturbs me. All in all this turned out being the worst thing I´ve heard in a long period of time. Rating 0/10

10. QMCMAS - Remis of "Moonlight Ginga", "Cinderella", "Miss Parallel World"(inform me if I forgot a song), reminding me of a sountrack for a computer game with dwarfs, dragons and knights (LOL, no wonder considering it´s a Suzuki Keiichi- Remix). I think my beloved Mr. Suzuki recently has some weird taste, Soutaiseiriron´s songs this way. But considering how bad QVSCAA was, this is good ^^ Rating 3/10

11. QLOTAS - At first I thought the beginning sounded wuite interesting until I recognized it´s a remix of "Teretou" (which is one of my absolute favorite songs by Soutaiseiriron), but otherwise it surprised me how it featured elements i really like a lot (the part after the "kara afuredasu" is great I think). What i dislike is the male breathing sound again. Though i principially don´t like weird remixes of my favorite songs this surprised me in a good way :) Rating 7,5-8/10

12. QKMAC - Again a remix of "Miss Parallel World"(the 2rd on the album :O). As I recognized before, "Miss Parallel World" and "Love Zukkyun" seem to be Soutaiseiriron´s most popular songs. I believe this is the reason why they put 3 of the song´s remixes onto the CD^^...I think this one is a bit pitchy, which probably comes from the change in pitch of the chorus. Not my taste again. Rating: 3/10

13. (1+1) - This sound like some kind of random RnB-song to me. It´s so unspectacular and boring . Diappointing. Rating:2-4/10

Conclusion: This album is not my style at all, especially because I like the songs as they were and not in their remix-version. Q/P and Q&Q are fine and I would have loved more songs like this so much. I´m diappointed, but it´s just my simple opinion.
I still love Soutaiseiriron and am looking forward to Yaku´s single "LULU"
